Last updated: 16 July 2025

Limited-Use Compliance Statement

Eva by Paradiso’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data & Developer Policy, including all Limited Use requirements.

Data We Access

  • Google Calendar – Read event details (title, time, attendees, conferencing links) to detect and join meetings you authorize.
  • Google People / Basic Profile – Read your name, email address, and avatar to personalize your experience.
Eva does not request Google Photos or any other non-Workspace scopes.

How We Use Your Data

  1. Join and record scheduled meetings you select.
  2. Generate transcripts, summaries, notes, and action items.
  3. Email or post summaries when you enable that option.
  4. Keep your meeting list in sync with Google Calendar.

What We Never Do

  • Use your Google data for advertising, marketing, or unrelated analytics.
  • Sell or transfer your data to third-party services.
  • Allow human access to your content without your explicit request, a security requirement, or legal obligation.
  • Train generalized AI/ML models on Workspace user data.

Data Retention & Deletion

  • Meeting transcripts and summaries are retained no longer than 30 days after delivery (or sooner if you delete them).
  • Disconnecting Eva from Google immediately revokes access; retained artifacts are queued for deletion.

Security

  • Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
  • OAuth tokens stored encrypted and rotated per best practice.
  • Access limited to authorized, audited personnel under least-privilege controls.

Manage & Revoke Access

You can revoke Eva’s access at any time:

  1. Open your Google Account → Security → Third-party apps with account access.
  2. Select Eva by Paradiso and remove access.
  3. You may also request immediate deletion of stored data inside Eva’s settings.

Limited Use Compliance Statement

Eva by Paradiso’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to Google’s API policies, including the Google API Services User Data Policy and the Google Workspace API User Data Policy, and all Limited Use requirements developers.google.com. This means we access and use your Google data only to provide you with the Eva app’s intended features, in full compliance with Google’s Limited Use requirements.

Data We Access

  • Google Calendar Data: We read your calendar event details – such as meeting titles, times, participant emails, and conferencing links – only to detect meetings you’ve authorized Eva to join and record. This allows Eva to know when and where to assist you (for example, identifying a Google Meet link to join a scheduled call).
  • Google Profile Info: We access your basic Google profile (your name, email address, and profile picture) to personalize your experience. For instance, Eva uses your name and avatar so it can greet you and display in-app notes or emails in a familiar way.

Note: Eva by Paradiso does not request access to any other Google data (for example, we do not access your Google Drive, Google Photos, Gmail content, or any non-Workspace services). We only request the minimum data necessary from Google – your Calendar events and basic profile – to perform the app’s functions.

How We Use Your Google Data

Eva uses the above Google information only to provide helpful, user-facing features in the app’s interface, for your benefit developers.google.com. Specifically, if you grant permission, Eva will:

  1. Join and Record Meetings: Using your Calendar event details, Eva will automatically join the online meetings you select or authorize. It records the audio/video (as an invited participant) to create a transcript.
  2. Generate Notes & Summaries: Eva transcribes the meeting and then uses AI to generate a summary of what was discussed, including key points, action items, and decisions. These notes and action items are shown to you in the app.
  3. Send Follow-Up Emails (Optional): If you choose to enable it, Eva can email the meeting summary and action items to attendees or post them to your chosen workspace (for example, sending a summary to your team). This only happens with your explicit request or setting.
  4. Calendar Sync: Eva keeps track of your upcoming meetings via Google Calendar to stay up-to-date. This means if you add or change a meeting, Eva syncs those changes (so it knows when to join or skip meetings as per your schedule).

Important: We only use your Google data to deliver these features that you see and use. We do not use your Google information for any background or hidden purposes. All data usage is focused on improving your productivity and experience with the Eva assistant.

What We Never Do

Your privacy is extremely important to us. Eva by Paradiso will NEVER:

  • Use your Google data for advertising or marketing purposes. We do not look at or use your calendar or profile information to serve ads, nor do we sell or rent your data to data brokers or advertisers developers.google.com.
  • Share your data with third parties (except as needed to provide our service, and never without appropriate protections). We do not transfer or disclose your Google-synced information to any external services or organizations, except if required for security or legal compliance (and even then, only in strict accordance with policies and laws).
  • Allow human staff to read your content except in rare cases where you explicitly ask for support or as necessary for security/legal reasons. Our team cannot view your meeting transcripts or notes unless you ask us to help with an issue, or if required by law.
  • Use your Google data to train general AI models. Any machine learning we do with Eva is solely to assist you during your meetings. We do not use your data to train or improve AI models for the benefit of others or for our product broadly developers.google.com. In short, your Workspace data is not used to improve any AI outside of your own experience with Eva.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data from your meetings only as long as necessary to deliver the service to you, and you are in control of it:

  • Meeting transcripts and summaries are temporary. Eva stores meeting recordings, transcripts, and generated summaries for no more than 30 days after providing them to you, unless you delete them sooner paradiso.ai. This allows you time to review and save your notes. After 30 days (or immediately upon your deletion request), these meeting records are automatically deleted from our systems.
  • Removing Access: If you disconnect Eva from your Google account, our app immediately loses access to your Google data. Any calendar information we had sync’d is no longer retrievable after disconnection. Additionally, any stored meeting content associated with your account is queued for permanent deletion shortly after you revoke access (we perform deletions in batches for safety, but rest assured it will be erased promptly).

Security Measures

We take strong precautions to protect your Google data:

  • Encryption: All data exchanged between Eva and Google is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Any data we store (like transcripts or summaries during the retention period) is encrypted at rest on our servers.
  • Secure Credentials: Your Google OAuth tokens (which allow Eva to access your Calendar and profile) are stored securely using encryption. We follow industry best practices in handling these credentials, including periodic rotation and scoped access, to prevent unauthorized use.
  • Restricted Access: Internally, access to user data is limited to a handful of authorized personnel who require it to maintain the service (for example, to resolve a support issue). Our team members are bound by strict confidentiality and least-privilege principles, meaning they can only access what is absolutely necessary and only with oversight. We also audit our systems regularly to prevent any unauthorized access.
  • Industry Best Practices: We continuously update our security measures in line with industry standards to safeguard your information. This includes regular security audits, monitoring for vulnerabilities, and compliance with frameworks like OWASP Top 10. We are committed to protecting your data as part of our service to you.

User Control: Managing or Revoking Access

You remain in control of your Google account access at all times. If you ever want to disconnect Eva from your Google data, you can do so easily:

  1. Google Account Settings: Go to your Google Account’s security settings (Google Account > Security > “Third-party apps with account access”).
  2. Remove Eva by Paradiso: In the list of connected apps, find “Eva by Paradiso” and choose Remove Access. This will immediately prevent Eva from accessing any new data from your Google account.
  3. Data Deletion: You can also delete any stored meeting data from within the Eva app’s settings. For example, you may clear past meeting transcripts or summaries at any time. If you’ve removed Eva’s access as in step 2, any remaining data associated with your Google account will be deleted from our system as described above.
